Jubilee Celebration at Bear Town

The award winning indoor play at Bear Town is hosting its own Jubilee Celebration. The kids can dress up as Kings and Queens for to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Exeter Jubilee Tea Party
2 June 2022 | 35 minutes drive from Forest Glade.
The City of Exeter is marking the event with a Jubilee street party taking place in the High Street for residents and visitors alike.
A Military and Community Village will also take place on the Cathedral Green. As well as the lighting of a beacon on Exeter Quay in the evening.
Sidmouth Street Party
2 June 2022 | 40 minutes drive from Forest Glade
Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce is organising a street party celebration in the town’s Market Place.
Tables of 6 will be available for local residents to book with a best dressed competition – 1950s costume is encouraged!
The live entertainment will be provided by Sidmouth Town Band, followed by a disco.
Exmouth Festival
2 – 5 June 2022 | 40 minutes drive from Forest Glade
After a two year break Exmouth Festival is back in 2022. Taking place at the Imperial Recreation Ground, the festival offers free live music, theatre, circus and art. As well as a showcase of the the very best of Devon’s local food and drink.
The 2022 event will celebrate the Platinum Jubilee with a beacon lighting, and a special Big Jubilee Lunch.

Happy Days Platinum Jubilee show
2 June | 17 minutes drive from Forest Glade at The Beehive Honiton
Happy Days Are Here Again is a patriotic and uplifting show, full of well-known songs that will bring the feel good factor. The Happy Days cast will the audience through the Queen’s time on the throne with accompanying images and significant moments.
The show includes classics from various musical icons, such as Vera Lynn, Connie Francis, Doris Day, Matt Monro, Frank Sinatra, and Glen Miller. It’ll be an old-fashioned knees-up with songs such as Roll Out the Barrel, Knees Up Mother Brown, and Lambeth Walk.
A wonderful atmosphere will br created to of the Last Night of the Proms will be recreated with plenty of opportunities to wave flags and join in the singing of songs such as Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and There’ll Always Be An England.
