Our family-friendly holiday park in the heart of Devon is the perfect holiday destination for those wishing to spend time with their friends and family in nature. Forest Glade is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty, whilst simultaneously being well-connected for guests wishing to explore the local area. If you’re looking for an incredible camping holiday in the heart of Devon, we at Forest Glade have a range of pitch options for you to choose from.
Forest Glade allows tent camping throughout the months of March to October each year. Tent pitch prices start from £21.50 per night, which includes two people, unit and one car. If you’d like to bring additional guests or dogs along with you, please refer to our tariff for more information.
Camping at Forest Glade
We offer several dedicated sheltered camping areas around the park where our guests can set up their tents. We can accommodate tents of various sizes including large tents. However, if you are unsure of whether our pitches will suit your tent’s size, please don’t hesitate to give us a call, or email us. We have three pitch types suitable for tents, grass with or without an electric hook-up, and all-weather (gravel pitch with extra groundsheet provided). Un-serviced pitches can be found on our two grassy camping fields: Christmas Tree Field and Fire Acre Field. Grass pitches with electric hook-up are located in the Christmas Tree Field and in Thrush Close (view our park map). All-weather pitches can be found in various areas.
Christmas Tree Field
Our Christmas Tree Field here is in the heart of our holiday park here at Forest Glade. This camping field is an all grass field with plenty of un-serviced pitches suitable for tents along with five electric hook-up pitches. The Christmas Tree Field site is perfect for families visiting with young children as this field has easy access to our facilities, such as the WC and Shower Block, our heated indoor swimming pool as well as our fantastic children’s playgrounds.
Five Acre Field
The Five Acre Field is a short walk away from the centre of the park (300m) and is the perfect pitch choice for those who really wish to immerse themselves in nature. This somewhat quieter area is perfect for those wishing to do a bit of birdwatching, or even stargazing as there is a lack of light pollution over the Five Acre Field. This camping field doesn’t have designated un-serviced pitches, which means you are able to choose exactly where you’d like to pitch up your tent. When selecting your camping space, please be mindful of other tents and keep a six-metre distance between yourself and your fellow campers.
