From swimming to soft play and table tennis to nature trails, we’re got a wide variety of leisure activities to enjoy with the all family at Forest Glade.

As well as the joys of exploring the local area there is always plenty to keep guests occupied onsite at Forest Glade. We have a range of leisure activities that will appeal to different age groups. A choice of swimming, outdoor sports and play areas ensure that fitness levels can be kept topped up on your break at our Devon holiday park.

Living in lockdown has meant that we’ve all learnt to appreciate some of the simpler things in life. Leisure activities such as going for walks with family and exercise have become more important to us. Many of us have spent a lot of time indoors during the past year. This has led to concerns about detrimental effects on our general welfare, fitness and mental health. Now is a good time to reconnect with the great outdoors and embrace the fresh air!

If you’re feeling active on your stay at Forest Glade, here’s a guide to what is available for our park guests to enjoy during their stay.

Swimming Pool and Sauna

There’s nothing quite like starting the day with a few lengths in the pool. If you’re looking for a Devon holiday park with swimming pool, you’re very much in luck at Forest Glade. Be sure to check our very latest guidelines around booking and use of the pool to keep in the know and be mindful of others using the shared the facility. The pool is also available for use by non-residents at the park, there are more details here.

Our outdoor play areas will keep the kids entertained for hours on end. There’s a variety of climbing apparatus to test agility and our very popular aerial runway is a hit with youngsters. Nature walks

As well are our own 26 acres of forest and grassland we are fortunate to be surrounded by  300 acres of forest which is rich in wildlife and perfect for walking. We often get asked about the nearby walks. There are several local Devon walks that can be accessed directly from the Park. Leaflets with more information on these local walks are available from Reception. We also have a guided nature trail walk – a highly recommended way to explore the park on foot. Get back to nature and explore the wonderful landscape around us.
