Unique location
Situated in a forested area of the Blackdown Hills, we are surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our secluded park location allows you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and enables you to relax and take time to appreciate your surroundings.
Walker’s paradise
Many of our visitors love walking on the Blackdown Hills. There are a number of superb day walking routes to keep even the most avid rambler occupied. Explore the local hill forts, forests and open countryside. If you are wanting a more challenging walk then the East Devon Way will not disappoint.
Easy access to the coast
If you’re after a coastal holiday as part of your staycation then you can still enjoy this whilst staying with us. We are only a short distance from the beautiful seaside towns of Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton. All these Devon and Dorset beach locations are just around 40 minutes drive from our park.
Wildlife
There is plenty of wildlife to be seen both on and off the park. Wildlife information is available in our Tourist Information Room, and you can find out about local zoos and wildlife attractions in our blog. Find out about where the best places are to go bird watching. We also have a nature trail on the park for visitors to enjoy.
